I CANNOT. I SIMPLY CANNOT.

Had Cadmus Pariah not been abused beyond all human comprehension, this would be him.  Truth upon truth upon truth.

Postponed

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the publishing of The Blood Crown was unfortunately postponed.  It should be released sometime in September now, so please be patience! :)

August is the month of “The Blood Crown”

If all goes as planned August will be the month of the release of the second installment of The Vampire Relics, entitled The Blood Crown.  With breathtaking cover art drawn by Art Center’s Amanda Cook and with plans for a for a future kindle, we here at Fey Publishing are very excited about the story and wonderment to come.  Unlike The Chalice, The Blood Crown will focus primarily on the two vampires Cadmus Pariah and his arch-nemesis Orphaeus Cygnus as they travel by foot from Jerusalem to Rome to retrieve the second mysterious relic that is sacred to the Vampire Great Hive.  Throughout the story, we will learn more of the ancient alien Elfin Tarmi, and their role in human development throughout the long ages.

We will also learn how Cadmus came to learn of the Blood Crown and the horror he enacted on another to acquire this knowledge.  Not for the light of heart, The Blood Crown is a necessary and important story that connects both the first and the last of the The Vampire Relics trilogy.  We hope you enjoy it.

Craig Parker’s presence as Haldir of Lorien is exactly the kind of vibe I would love to have exuded on screen when Kelat is remembering her parents and their Tarmian ritual in the ancient grove.  His look is not so much haughty as it is eternally regal.

This is probably one of the most important posts that will be made here, because it features the individual who was and is the greatest inspiration for the character of Cadmus Pariah.  Barry Andrews is interviewed in this video back in 1986 (or ‘87), where he talks about the new album Big Night Music and Shriekback in general.  Even though he’s much more animated and definitely kindlier than Cadmus, Barry’s influence on the character is undeniable.  Watching him here is like watching Cadmus, had the abomination not been magickally predisposed to atrocity and had he not been abused beyond imagination to crystallize his darker nature.  If Cadmus could ever exhibit and truly feel one moment of good will and happiness, this video would be a perfect representation of that.

The original anchor for Faust the Confessor.  I felt so guilty when I was writing this character’s story and accounting what Cadmus Pariah does to him, I needed a ton of moral support whilst writing it.  And I did apologise to Scott ahead of time, should he ever read “The Sainted Confessor.”

Here’s a fine representation of James as he should look for the role of Kallum McCreary.  He and Scott McClure combine wonderfully to embody the character of Faust/Kallum as the Vampire who mortates to become the gateway for the salvation of Cadmus Pariah.

Well, yeah, he’s channeling Cadmus Pariah as Praetor Shinzon, of course he flinging off pheromones!
